Discribion of the Switched storyboard

Switched arc for Dust
(this is just a rough vis, ok)
Scene 1
Living Room
Saul sat on the couch, there was a pounding in his head. The pain made him squeeze his eyes shut but there was no escape. Flashes from that time haunt him. It wasn’t what he wanted but it took it away, even if it was only temporary. Saul grabs the premade needle filled with black tar and quickly stabs his arm. It burned like a wildfire in his veins but what came after was worth it. It numbs him. He glances up to see the a light coming from the kitchen.

Memory

After Sunday meetings Ann, Vaghun, and Saul played a deck a cards. Vaghun was wearing their youths club shirt, light blue shirt with a dove on it. Vaghun would always win at card games and now was no different. Vaghun cried out in victory, again. Saul threw up his hand, Vaghun laughing, and Ann, his mom, smiling.

Present

Saul is standing by the kitchen smiling softly. The kitchen was empty but it was only a memory and like all things the doesn’t last. He heard a scream that froze him. Oh god no, he knew that scream, no, no, no, no. It flashes in his head again. He scrambled back to the table to grab another one but stops when sees a photo of him and his friend together outside their church. On the bottom of the photo his friends number. Saul stares at it for a long time. Shakely he grabs another needle and quickly stabs his arm, but he looks away this time. As soon as its done everything in his vision turns red, he is shaking, scared. He hears the scream. Saul doesn’t think, he runs to the hallway to the bathroom door. He stops for a second, then grabs the doorknob and opens it. Its dark, the only light is behind him but he can still see it.

Memory

A hand. Water is dripping over the tub, a hand resting over the edge, but below is a needle. Black tar is spreading. He drops to his knees and scrambles back.

Present

Saul scrambles back, clawing away from the gruesome scene. Shaking he grabs the dresser in the hallway for support. He runs into the living room. He stumbles into a mirror, screaming. Saul looks at his reflection. Bloodshot eyes, crying, hair unkept, rugged clothes. He stares, panting. Then he notices that the picture on the table is glowing. He turns slowly, stumbling to it. As he got closer it burned brighter, then a dove shoots out of the picture into him. He cries. He reaches for the photo and calls the number. It rings.. Vaghun picks up.

-time skip-

Saul is more cleaned up. He trashed all the drugs and broke every syringe. Everything is slightly brighter. He hears a knocking at the door. Saul straightens himself before opening the door. Light floods the house until he adjust. There is his friend, smiling.
